Mississippi native, Chris Atkinson has had a passion for photography since childhood. Starting on disposable Kodak film cameras, he won several 4-H photography competitions and even placing at the state fair. Graduating to SLR cameras, he turned his attention to documenting the wildlife and landscapes of southern MS. However, his most recent passion is portraiture and event photography. Having hosted several portrait shoots and documenting multiple pageants and sporting events, he delights in exploring the intricacies of beautiful light and capturing the heartfelt candid moments of his subjects.
